MegaWest Energy’s experienced management seeks to establish significant proven and producing unconventional heavy oil fuel resources this year, achieving early production from its world-class suite of properties encompassing over 110,000 acres in five project areas – Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas and Montana. MegaWest’s projects are currently in the exploration stage.  MegaWest’s strategy is to evaluate, enhance and exploit each project through:

• geoscience and engineering analysis to validate each project and identify technologies which may result in economic recovery;
• field work including seismic, drilling and operation of pilot projects to corroborate engineering and geoscience analysis, resulting in a commercial project design and development plan; and
• engage an independent third-party to establish the value of commercial resources, leading to the execution of  a commercial development plan.

MegaWest Energy has proactively purchased all “long lead time” equipment. This includes six (6) steam generators, five (5) of which are 50 million BTU/hr steam generators. The company has the capacity to produce up to 3000 barrels per day when all of these steam generators are active in the planned demonstration pilot projects.
